This e-book proposes using waste from oil drilling and sugar cane bagasse ash within the creation of ecologically pleasant soil-cement bricks. It deals a achievable substitute to the conventional bricks available to buy, which use wooden as gasoline: production bricks from waste is less expensive and doesn't require the intake of bushes and forests. The incorporation of SDW in the formulation Soil + 14 % cement causes a decrease of the strength. The increase in waste-cement brick strength can be justified by the presence of a cementations material in the soil drilling waste, which fully met the Brazilian standard, with no need to add soil to correct formulation. All results previously described confirm that soil-cement bricks can be produced with addition of gravel from oil well drilling with properties and values set by Brazilian standards for soil-cement bricks.

In the 1970s, about 90 % of sugarcane was processed into sugar; but position was reversed in the 1980s, after the creation of PROÁLCOOL program, when about 80 % of sugarcane was used to produce alcohol (Brazil 2007). The participation of sugarcane in the energy sector takes into account not only the alcohol consumed by motor vehicles, but also the use of bagasse at mills.

All results previously described confirm that soil-cement bricks can be produced with addition of gravel from oil well drilling with properties and values set by Brazilian standards for soil-cement bricks. The results also showed that there is no need for correction of the mixture by clayey soil, as the formulation composed of pure gravel with cement also met Brazilian standards.
